All plants are bushy, well shaped and hardened off ready for planting. The Vireyas are in hard 17 cm plastic pots, and heights excluding the container range from 20 to 40 cm depending on variety. Look in About Us for a photo of a plant ready for sale.

ARAVIR
Beautiful crisp clear highly scented white flowers. Compact semi-spreading growth habit. Height 1m.

BLONDE BOMBSHELL
Large soft pinky apricot edged flowers with a soft yellow centre. Very free flowering. Growth habit is similar to Simbu Sunset. An excellent performer. Height 1.2m.

BUTTERMAID
Full rounded trusses of up to 22 pale yellow flowers with a light suffusion of orange. Very stunning when in full flower. Vigorous grower. Height 1.5m.

CAMEO SPICE
Large creamy apricot flowers spiced with a cinnamon fragrance, 4 to 6 per truss. Vigorous grower with bold felted leaves. Height 1.5m.

CAPTAIN SCARLET
Large trusses of orange red lightly scented flowers on a strong growing shrub. Flowers well when young. Height 1.2m.

CHARMING VALENTINO
Attractive foliage plant with a tidy habit. Rich salmon red flowers. Suitable for containers, baskets and ground growing. Height 1m.

CHERRY GLOW Released in 2013
A stunning shrub, with hot pink flowers with white in the base and tube. A new introduction for us for 2012/13. Richard Currie hybrid. Height 1m.

CHERRY PIE
Large cherry pink flowers with a tropical glow. Bold rounded foliage on a spreading well shaped bush. Recommended for a hanging basket. Height 1m.

CORAL CHANCE
Bright coral orange delicate starry flowers on a vigorous bushy plant. Hardy and flowers well. Height 1.2m.

CORAL FLARE
Soft coral pink flowers. Always attracts attention. This plant has a spreading habit, which makes it ideal for a hanging basket. Height 1m.

CORAL SEAS
Beautiful coral orange flowers with a tinge of yellow in the throat. Strong bushy shrub. Consistent flowering from a young age. Height 1.2m.

DAWN CHORUS
Pink lobed flowers shading to a creamy yellow throat, delicate tonings. New growth has a distinctive red flush. Very showy. Compact shrub. Height 1.2m.

FELICITAS
Crisp white star like tubular flowers with a frilled edge to the petals. Highly scented with a hint of pink in the throat. Good compact habit, does well in a container or basket. Height 1m.

FIRST LIGHT
This is much like 'Star Posy' although the foliage is a deeper green and of heavier texture. The flowers are also a deeper shade of pink. Lightly scented. Height 1m.

FLASH HARRY Our own hybrid released in 2008.
Very vivid cherry pink scented flowers with a softer creamy yellow in the throat. Flowers young and flowers often. Has good constitution and forms a well rounded shrub with deep green foliage. A winner! Height 1.2m.

FRAGRANTEM
Stunning very large highly scented white flowers with a tinge of pink in the throat. Large bold green foliage. Height 1.2m.

GILDED SUNRISE
These large golden yellow flowers of 7 to 8 per truss make for a striking display. Vigorous growth to a height of 1.5m.

GOLDEN CHARM
Good full truss of golden apricot flowers. This plant has red stems and coppery glossy foliage. Good compact bushy habit. Height 1.2m.

GWENEVERE
Lovely white scented flowers with a hint of pink in the throat. Full rounded truss. Good shaped shrub with dark green foliage. Height 1.2m.

HALOED GOLD
Lovely large clear golden yellow flowers with a thin frilled edge of orange. Good vigour. Height 1.2m.

HIGHLAND WHITE JADE
A lovely white vireya with long tubular upright flowers with a hint of yellow, nicely scented. Each truss has up to 10 flowers, which gives a starburst effect. Good bushy habit. Height 1.2m.

JAVA LIGHT
Beautiful large tropical vivid orange flowers. Bright glossy green foliage. Has good vigour and flowers well. Forms a well rounded shrub. Height 1.2m.

JEAN BAPTISTE
Beautiful large scented creamy white flowers, sometime showing a hint of pink and an extra set of petals in the centre of each flower. A compact shrub with glaucous foliage. Height 1.2m.

JOHN WEST
Rich salmon flowers blending to apricot cream in the throat. Bold strong foliage on a large shrub. Height 1.2m.

JUST PEACHY
Beautiful peachy apricot flowers in a full truss. Semi prostrate shrub, which makes it ideal for baskets or ponga pots. Height 1m.

KIRI Released in 2011
Beautiful large full truss of soft apricot creamy peach coloured flowers. Distinctive foliage on an upright plant. Height 1.5m.

KISSES
Pink lobed flowers shading to a cream throat. Compact tidy shrub. Very similar to 'Dawn Chorus'. Height 1.2m.

KRAKATOA
Large vigorous shrub. Glossy lighter green foliage similar to Captain Scarlet and Shepherds Warning. Large flowers in a burnt orange colour. Height 1.2m.

LITTLE CRACKER
Dainty bright orange red flowers on a low growing slightly spreading shrub. A good miniature for the front of the border. Height 40cm.

LULLABY
Soft pink tubular flowers ageing to white. Bushy growth habit with good vigour. Hardy. Height 1.2m.

LULU
Beautiful bicolour with creamy yellow throat and apricot lobes. Has good vigour and shape. Height 1.2m.

MADONNA Released in 2013
A beautiful fragrant vireya with large trusses of frilly cream tinged apricot pink flowers. Medium sized bush with large leaves. Height 1.2m.

MOONWOOD
Beautiful creamy highly scented flowers on a low compact plant. Very similar in shape and size to Felicitas. Height 1m.

OUR MARCIA
Soft clear pink flowers with a paler throat. Good vigour with a bushy habit. Height 1.2m.

RED MOUNTAIN
Good compact grower with rich dark red bell shaped flowers. Vigorous and hardy grower. Height 1.2m.

ROBS FAVOURITE
Small salmon red starry flowers up to 10 in a truss. Good in a hanging basket, tub or in the ground. Semi spreading habit. Flowers well. Height 1.2m.

ROSIE POSIE
Semi double rich tangerine flowers with a light lemon throat. Good all round performer. Height 1.2m.

SATANS GIFT
Large highly fragrant bright pink flowers with a yellow throat. Strong grower with glaucous foliage. Jury hybrid. Height 1.2m.

SAXON BLUSH P.V.R.
Soft apricot flowers with a coral red flare. Very neat compact habit. Repeat flowering. Hardy. Can be used to form a small informal hedge. Height 80cm.

SAXON GLOW P.V.R.
Red flowers held in clusters that sit up above the foliage. Very neat compact habit. Repeat flowering. Can be used to make a small informal hedge. Height 80cm.

SCENTED SUN
Stunning vivid yellow ruffled flowers, which sometimes have a gold tinge to them. Glossy foliage with a copper tinge. Tops when it comes to a yellow. Forms a good rounded shrub. Height 1.2m.

SHANTUNG ROSE
Forms a well-rounded evenly clothed shrub. Lovely large salmon rose flowers with a yellow hue in the throat. An excellent performer. Hardy. Height 1.5m.

SHEPHERDS WARNING
Large scarlet orange flowers in a large rounded truss, lightly scented. Strong vigorous plant with light green foliage. Height 1.5m.

SIMBU SUNSET
Large showy flowers, orange lobes shading through to yellow in the throat. Always popular. Height 1.2m.

SOLAR FLARE P.V.R. Our own hybrid released in 1996.
A compact easy to grow plant with its new bright copper foliage that matures to a deep green with red stems and mid ribs. The large flowers, up to 9 per truss, are a vivid clear pink with a rich scent of carnations. Height 1.2m.

Protected under N Z Plant Variety Rights Act 1987. RNZIH PLANT RAISER OF THE YEAR AWARD 2000

SWEET WENDY
Large sweetly scented soft pink and lemon flowers. Has a rounded growth habit with a glaucous look to the foliage. Height 1.2m.

TICKETY BOO Our own hybrid released in 2009.
Lovely clear glowing apricot peach flowers softening in the throat. A good rounded compact shrub with plenty of vigour. It is a reliable performer both in growth and in flower. Height 1.2m.

TROPIC CORAL
Bright salmon red flowers on a well rounded bush with dark green foliage. A good performer and flowers well. Height 1.2m.

TROPIC GLOW
Similar to 'Simbu Sunset' with its showy flowers. The orange lobes with yellow throat are more intense in colour in this hybrid. Height 1.5m.

VANILLA SLICE
Beautiful creamy clear open flowers with a dusting of pink speckles in the throat, deepening to creamy yellow in the base of the flower. Lightly scented. Very free flowering from a young age. Good strong growing shrub that forms a well rounded shape. New foliage has a bronzy hue, shading to dark green with age. Richard Currie hybrid. Height 1.2m.

Released in 2008. This highly rated hybrid is a 'Solar Flare' PVR seedling raised by New Zealander Richard Currie.

VLADIMIR BUKOVSKY
Flowers are bright orange with a paler throat. Low growing with a spreading habit. Ideal for a larger hanging basket. Height 1m.

YELLOW BUNNY
Clusters of dainty soft yellow flowers. Good vigorous growth and a tidy habit. Very showy. Height 1.2m.

ZEUS
Very vivid bright red flowers. Good glossy foliage on a well shaped bush. Good vigorous grower. Flowers well. Height 1.2m.
