Our Yoga
We are experienced practitioners and teachers of the Ashtanga and other traditions of yoga including Iyengar, Hatha, and Vinyasa Flow. Below is a brief overview of the classes that we run at our centre.
A dynamic sequence of postures practiced in a continuous flow. It
places equal emphasis on the development of strength, flexibility, and
stamina.
the main components are:
vinyasa - sychronizing breath and movement
bandhas - to generate and control the flow of energy
breath - ujjayi, ocean breath, empowers the movements
and develops concentration
dristi - gaze points to direct the attention inward.
In combination these four elements create a powerful practice generating internal heat and circulating a vital energy throughout the body, strengthening and purifying the nervous system.

Ashtanga Mysore Style
This is an opportunity to deepen your practice and learn the full
Ashtanga Primary Series. You will work at your own pace and Rod
and Ali will give individual advice and adjustments.
Yoga Flow
A varied program of classic yoga postures taken at a pace which allows your body to naturally open up and fully experience the good feeling which flows from developing a strong flexible body and calm focused mind. There will be a mix of internal intuitive work and more external postures ranging from the easy to the more challenging.
